Limestone Retaining Walls That Last

“Our driveway was a complete wreck, every time it rained the bottom of the driveway washed out. We live on a creek bottom dirt road and watched everyone around us bring in gravel just to have it wash away to the neighbor's pasture each time it rained. I found Burdick Land Solutions beautiful website and pored over it. Talked it over with the man of the house and called them. Ben was very helpful on the phone, that was on a Tuesday afternoon. That afternoon he texted me to let me know that Jack was coming out for a site visit on Thursday. He messaged me the day prior to the site visit to remind me and of course on the day of the visit Jack showed up, I believe he was even a couple minutes early. He spent a lot of time walking over the property, seeing what the problem areas were, taking measurements, photos and videos and said we'd have a quote within a couple days. Early the next morning Ben called and sent us a quote. We reviewed it and decided we wanted a bit more in the parking area so he instantly redid the quote. This all happened within three days of initially contacting them. On Saturday we were going over the quote and were just a bit confused about the boundaries, I texted and he immediately called and we went over it again. He was so patient and polite. We paid the deposit on August 5th. On the 6th Ben called and said he had us scheduled for the 27th. Just about every single day until the job started he contacted me, just staying in touch. On the 20th Ben said they finished another job and was going to start ours, a week early. Jack showed up Friday morning with equipment and started working. We found him absolutely wonderful to work with. He even protected a couple trees we really liked, one old dogwood tree and a young redwood that were close to the worksite. They finished the job in good time, always with excellent communication. Someone was always telling us what was going on, what was going to happen next. The job was finished yesterday, they dug new trenches to redirect the water, built a huge berm to hopefully keep it redirected. Another smaller berm and trench up the hill from the house to keep the deluge from the house and brought in five trucks of gravel to resurface the driveway and parking areas. He even planted grass seed on the berm and covered it with straw. Excellent communication; excellent work ethic; the most polite contractors I've ever dealt with in my life. “These Gentlemen Blew It out of the Park. I showed some Interest on their website with requesting a Quote and Some question answering about some Forestry Mulching. Ben took it upon himself to Message me back within Minutes and set up a Phone conversation to clarify what it is Im needing help with and answered any questions I had with valid information and knowledge. Then we set an appointment for site walking. Ben Showed up not on time but a few minutes early. After i realized the profesinality of Him i asked him to go ahead and give me a Quote. So he Drew up a Map on the phone and punched some Numbers in did some calculations and after a Few Moments He sent it to my phone with the mapping and The Quote and everything that goes with it cleanup etc. We Agreed to get it done after talking it over with the Spouse of mine. And asked him how soon he can get to it. And Luckily he had a little bit of time in between jobs to come over and start on it after the Weekend.! Showed up when he said he would did what he said he would and was always friendly and even willing to go out of his way to make it happen! I decided to add on some areas and for a small upcharge he knocked it out of the Park. I can not say enough how much fun I had watching him get this done and how much these guys Impressed me. I am looking forward to have these guys come back out and get what ever else I Need done take care of. I highly recommend contacting this company if you need any land project done.
