Logging gets the trees out. But it doesn't finish the job. What's left behind - stumps, root balls, uneven ground, debris piles - can make a field completely unusable. That's where we come in.

This kind of work is what we'd call a full reset. After the loggers cleared out, the land needed serious excavation to pull stumps, move material, and start getting the ground back to a workable state. It's not a quick job, and it's not a cheap one. But there's no shortcut that gets you the same result.

We ran the JCB excavator for the heavy lifting - pulling stumps and breaking up rough terrain - while the Kubota track loader worked alongside it to move debris and clean up the edges. Having both machines on-site is what lets us cover ground efficiently without leaving a half-finished mess behind. The grapple work alone on a job like this is substantial, and you need the right setup to handle it.

Site preparation and yard leveling after a logging operation is one of the more demanding things we do. The ground isn't just rough - it's unpredictable. Hidden roots, buried debris, grade changes that don't show up until you're in it. Getting the land clean and level means dealing with all of it, not just what's visible on the surface.

If you've got a field that got logged and left in rough shape, this is the kind of work it takes to get it back. It's an investment, but the end result is land you can actually use - whether that's for farming, building, or just getting your property under control again.
