A lot of folks just want a solid, no-fuss place to park. No fancy garage, no big renovation - just something dependable that holds up and looks good doing it. That's exactly what we put together for this customer.
We started with proper site preparation, grading and leveling the area to give everything a stable base. From there, we installed a clean gravel pad with railroad tie borders to keep the stone in place and define the edges. It's one of those details that makes a real difference long-term - without a solid border, gravel spreads and the whole setup starts looking rough within a season or two.
Once the gravel driveway pad was set, we got the metal carport structure up. The framing is galvanized steel, which handles weather well without the maintenance headaches that come with wood. The green panel end wall adds a finished look and cuts down on wind and rain coming in from that side.
The result is a covered parking area that the customer can actually use every day - whether they're parking a truck, storing equipment, or just keeping a vehicle out of the elements. It's practical, it's clean, and it's built to stay that way.
This kind of setup is one of our favorite types of work because it combines site prep, driveway installation, and structural work all in one job. If you've got an open area on your property that could use something like this, we'd be glad to help you figure out what makes sense for your space.
